The Pre-qualification Tool provides a free evaluation of the potential credit that you may qualify for from BMW Financial Services Canada (“we” or “us”) should you proceed to complete a credit application. If you agree to proceed with a pre-qualification, we will obtain your credit information by a “soft pull” (an inquiry not visible to other creditors viewing your credit report, that does not affect your credit score). Pre-qualification is for general information purposes only, and is not an approval or guarantee that we will extend credit to you or the amount of any credit that may be offered. A completed credit application, including a full credit report, is required before any credit decisions will be made.

You must be the age of majority in your province of residence and successfully pass identity verification questions to proceed. A copy of your result will be provided to you by email.

By using the Pre-qualification Tool, you agree that:

• we may obtain and use credit information from Equifax as described above (a “soft pull”);
• we may share your personal information and your pre-qualification result with an authorized retailer within our network (each, a “Retailer”);
• we or any Retailer we select may contact you by telephone or email regarding your pre-qualification result; and
• the information you provide and your pre-qualification result will be retained by us and/or any Retailer in accordance with the relevant record retention policy.
